It was planted by the poet, Father Allan MacDonald over 100 years ago. Last year, Netty&#8217;s Tree won the prestigious title of the Woodland Trust&#8217;s &#8220;Tree of The Year 2018&#8221;. To celebrate, Netty&#8217;s Tree the jig was written and recorded by Claire Gullan. Claire is joined by friends Nicky McMichan &amp; Andrew MacPherson on this recording.<\/p>\n<p>Claire is a freelance musician, instrumental tutor, Scottish composer, and artist based in Glasgow, Scotland.
