The track features Alistair&#8217;s core band who are Kristan Harvey on fiddle &#8216;Blazin Fiddles&#8217; and Kieran Heather on guitar &#8216;Washington Irving&#8217; Louis Abbott on production &#8216;Admiral Fallow&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Rest and be Thankful is inspired by an atmospheric picture of Alistair&#8217;s paternal grandparents looking out to a road race rally at the rest and be thankful &#8216;Drovers Road&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Alistair is a singer and musician from Glasgow. He has recently finished recording his second album of all original material partly funded by Creative Scotland. Along with his core band Kieran Heather and Kristan Harvey, Alistair inlisted the musical talents of some very special friends.
