A unique collaboration between Charlie Grey, Ryan Young, Owen Sinclair and Joseph Peach. The four have united to explore ideas of an alternative approach to traditional music. <\/p>\n
The project is an extension of Charlie and Joe\u2019s fiddle\/piano duo. For them, recent successes have included reaching the finals of the 2017 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award and the shortlist for FATEA Magazine\u2019s 2017 Instrumental Album Of The Year Award, as well as a positive critical and public reception that’s kept them in-demand as a live act at venues and festivals across Europe.<\/p>\n
They are joined by Ryan Young (Scots Trad Music Awards Up and Coming Artist of the Year at the 2016, BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year finalist 2015 & 2016), and Owen Sinclair to exploring the mellow and reflective. Sensitive accompaniment from the piano and guitar creates atmospheres within which the fiddles can explore the melodies to the depths, bringing light to their full possibilities, and transporting audiences. <\/p>\n
