It forms part of the deep sea light project.<br \/>\nwww.watercolourmusic.co.uk<\/p>\n<p>After a 12 year hiatus Paisley born singer musician Neil Thomson returns with a new folk inspired cd \u2018Gandiegow\u2019 which covers a variety of subjects including bird (and people) migration, ceilidh dancing, hedgehogs, sectarianism, wood for burning, clipper ships and the clydebank blitz.<\/p>\n<p>Neil began to write and perform from the mid 90\u2019s creating the Judy Circus; a songwriting collective which worked with DF Concerts to give emerging talent a platform to perform at higher profile venues. For the next 10 years he toured regularly at folk clubs and festivals appearing at the likes of Edinburgh Fringe, Celtic Connections, Kings Tuts and Tin the Park where his performances were described as eclectic, relaxed and intimate<\/p>\n<p>Neil&#8217;s writing is mainly but not solely inspired by his native Scotland.
