I wanted to play with other musicians and this set acted as the spur for me to do that. Price of a Pig is a well known Scottish fiddle tune and was one of the first traditional tune I heard. I love it! Lisnagun Jig is a tune I learnt from one of my friends. I added fiddle and double bass to this set as I wanted to explore a more contemporary treatment of traditional tunes using the clarsach.<\/p>\n<p>Elinor Evans is a Scottish clarsach player from Edinburgh. Elinor is driven by her determination that the clarsach be regarded as an instrument in its own right and is actively involved in developing a modern repertoire for it.
