Journeyman is an independent, multi-faceted artist-run project promoting the music of Gavin Marwick and his friends. The Journeyman Project is a celebration of a life spent as a Scottish-based fiddle player, the musical friends made on the way and the tunes that Gavin, a prolific and enthusiastic composer, has written. There is a great diversity in his music, ranging from Scottish, through influences and inspirations picked up on his travels, to theatre work and pure fun. The 10 piece Journeyman Spectacular concerts are both a promotion for Gavin\u2019s tunebook \u2018Horizons\u2019 and the double CD \u2018The Long Road and The Far Horizons\u2019 while also being a rare opportunity to see all these fantastic musicians sharing a stage together.
\nThe album launch for \u2018The Long Road and The Far Horizons\u2019 was in Glasgow at Celtic Connections 2014 to a sold out venue and a standing ovation.<\/p>\n
