The First Sangs was released in early 2015 and was recorded live at the Radio 2 Young Folk Weekend at the Brewery Arts Center, Kendal at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall at Celtic Connections.<\/p>\n<p>The First Sangs will be released on Itunes and various other online retailers on 1st March.<\/p>\n<p>At the age of seventeen, folk singer, Iona Fyfe has performed extensively across Scotland singing traditional Scots ballads with accompaniment of piano. Growing up in Huntly, surrounded by a wealth of musical and historical culture, Iona began performing Doric recitation and ballad singing at the age of five and since then has competed and performed at a range of festivals such as Traditional Music and Song Association Festivals in Aberdeen, Kirriemuir and Keith as well as The Perthshire Amber Festival and Celtic Connections.
