This practical workshop with Hayley Preston, Digital Marketing and Communications Officer at TRACS (Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland), is designed for traditional musicians, storytellers, dancers, craftspeople, and other traditional artists. It explores how social media and digital tools can help participants grow their audience, promote their work, and connect with new opportunities while maintaining the authenticity of their practice and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will cover how to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Define your unique artistic story and digital presence
– Identify the most effective social media platforms for your work
– Create engaging content that showcases both your creative process and finished pieces
– Develop a simple, sustainable content strategy
– Understand the basics of digital marketing and audience growth
– Use digital tools to support promotion and communication
– Create a realistic action plan for improving your online visibility<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session combines practical demonstrations, group discussion, and hands-on exercises.
