Programming must include artists from across the Nordic region: Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and \u00c5land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Funding available:<\/strong>&nbsp;Grants of \u20ac100,000\u2013\u20ac800,000, with local\/national co-financing required. Between one and eight projects will be funded from the \u20ac800,000 total pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Timeline:<\/strong>&nbsp;Applications open&nbsp;<strong>1 October\u20131 November 2026<\/strong>&nbsp;via an online portal; successful projects announced May 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This looks like a strong fit for anyone in the trad scene thinking about Nordic folk\/traditional music collaborations \u2014 Nordic fiddle, song and dance traditions have deep crossover with Scottish and wider Celtic trad.
