{"id":3968,"date":"2024-09-12T18:52:07","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T17:52:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.handsupfortrad.scot\/distil\/?p=3968"},"modified":"2024-09-12T18:52:08","modified_gmt":"2024-09-12T17:52:08","slug":"live-music-now-scotland-auditions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.handsupfortrad.scot\/distil\/live-music-now-scotland-auditions\/","title":{"rendered":"Live Music Now Scotland auditions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Live Music Now Scotland auditions are open for 2024\/25!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for early career musicians, either as soloists or in groups of up to 5 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any style of music is welcome, including classical, Scottish\/Gaelic\/Irish traditional, other international traditions, rock, pop and jazz, although you must be able to perform&nbsp;<strong>without PA or backing tracks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the group should be fixed, we do not accept groups with rotating members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Musicians need to be able, legally and practically, to work in Scotland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LMNS has two main aims:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To train and support exceptionally talented, emerging professional musicians in the crucial early years of their careers providing them with fairly paid performing opportunities in the community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To provide high-quality participatory performances and workshops for those who are normally excluded from experiencing live music through ill health, disability, isolation or poverty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Find out more here <a href=\"https:\/\/livemusicnow.scot\/musicians\/auditioning-for-lmns\/\">https:\/\/livemusicnow.scot\/musicians\/auditioning-for-lmns\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Live Music Now Scotland auditions are open for 2024\/25!
