We are looking for a Part-time Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Festival team. The required hours will change through the course of the contract with fewer up to December, followed by more hours up to the Festival in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DUTIES:&nbsp;<\/strong>Support the Administrator and EIHF Committee, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the Festival:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Marketing and publicity, including website and social media<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dealing with communication by email and phone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Processing ticket bookings, following up on booking enquiries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaising with committee members, artists and attendees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other administrative tasks as necessary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend training sessions for Red61 (our ticketing system) and Zoom (used for teaching)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Festival:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Set up and maintain the Festival office \/ box office<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing Artist merchandise sales using SumUp<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist the Festival team with daily duties and volunteer training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support stewards and other volunteers with processing of tickets and other public-facing tasks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide administrative support to artist\/tutors and Festival Team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offer hands-on support as required e.g. backstage or front-of-house<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PERIOD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>w\/c Mon 21st Oct \u2013 Induction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>28th Oct 2024 \u2013 9th April 2025: min. 10hrs per week with increases towards the Festival.
