The Scottish Classical Sustainability Group<\/a> has asked me to forward information about their International Travel Survey, in the hope that this can be shared widely with musicians of all genres working in the UK. <\/p>\n\n\n\n International touring is a key part of the music industry. It\u2019s shares brilliant work and enables cultural exchange. But it\u2019s also one of the industry\u2019s biggest sources of carbon emissions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n How do we balance these things? The Scottish Classical Sustainability Group<\/a> wants to hear directly from musicians working in all genres across the UK \u2013 how often they travel internationally, what works for them, and what doesn\u2019t? What do they want international touring to look like in future?<\/p>\n\n\n\n They have put together a survey for musicians to share their thoughts, and have asked that the survey be shared with musicians through industry networks. The survey only takes 5-10 minutes to complete.
