I wanted to raise your organisation&#8217;s awareness of the Dewar Arts Awards so that you can encourage and support young people that you engage with and meet the criteria, to apply.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dewar Arts Awards support the brightest and best of Scotland&#8217;s young artistic talent. We fund exceptional young artists in any discipline who do not have the financial means to achieve their full potential.\u00a0 Any artist under the age of 30 and living\/working\u00a0in Scotland can be nominated and the application form, guidance and examples of awardees can be found on our website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dewarawards.org\/\"><strong>www.dewarawards.org<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the past challenging years we have found that the breadth of applications from young people has narrowed. We hope that you can help us spread the word to reach creative and talented young people who, without financial support will not pursue the learning and training that will realise their full potential and contribute to Scotland&#8217;s wonderful culture.&nbsp;Over the last 20 years since we started, we have distributed over \u00a36 million to a whole range of young people across a wide range of artistic genre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Myself and our administrator Patricia Rossi are available to discuss further or answer any questions related to applications.&nbsp;The administrator can be contacted at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:admin@dewarawards.org\">admin@dewarawards.org<\/a>&nbsp;or by telephoning 01236 602863.
