Do\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Chothrom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Recruitment Pack: Administrative Producer&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>\u2013&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Background Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With support from B\u00f2rd na G\u00e0idhlig, Hands Up for Trad will facilitate and present&nbsp;<strong>Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig 2024<\/strong>,&nbsp;an initiative that brings together stakeholders, partners, the Press, schools, social media influencers, participants, audiences and communities, from across the world to celebrate our Gaelic language.&nbsp;<strong>Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig&nbsp;<\/strong>will include a coordinated network of activities taking place across Scotland and also internationally in the weeks leading up to and including&nbsp;<strong>19<\/strong><strong>th<\/strong><strong>\u2013<\/strong><strong>24<\/strong><strong>th&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>February 2024,&nbsp;<\/strong>followed by a full evaluation reporting period throughout March 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similar to Seachtain na Gaeilge in Ireland and M\u00ecos nan G\u00e0idheal in Cape Breton,&nbsp;<strong>Seachdain na G<\/strong><strong>\u00e0<\/strong><strong>idhlig&nbsp;<\/strong>is an inclusive and diverse celebration of Gaelic language and culture and we share B\u00f2rd na G\u00e0idhlig\u2019s vision that Gaelic is seen and heard on daily basis as an integral part&nbsp;of Scottish life, and recognised as a national cultural, social and economic asset. Furthermore, we will use B\u00f2rd na G\u00e0idhlig\u2019s 3 strategic priorities to underpin the cornerstones to&nbsp;<strong>Seachdain na G<\/strong><strong>\u00e0<\/strong><strong>idhlig&nbsp;<\/strong>2024 project plan:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>More people are using and benefiting from Gaelic at work, at home and in the community.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Opportunities for people to develop their Gaelic skills at any age have increased and are more accessible.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>More people in Scotland are positive about Gaelic language and culture.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Our key aim for 2024 is that\u00a0<em>all\u00a0<\/em>32 local authorities will be represented as part of\u00a0<strong>Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig<\/strong>, proving that Gaelic is of value and benefit to us all at work, at home and in the community. This will take targeted and individual approaches, shaped by local demographics, but we are confident that this is the most successful way to introduce and\/or strengthen Gaelic across Scotland. We are committed to removing the physical and emotional barriers which might prevent people from taking part in\u00a0<strong>Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2024<\/strong>, by presenting a highly engaging and accessible project with a wide appeal to individuals, communities, organisations, businesses, councils and partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The week will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An Official Programme of Events all funded via our 2024&nbsp;<em>Maoin nan Tabhartas Beag<\/em>\/Small Grant scheme, which will underpin a programme of local events. These will be fully supported by our tool kit of resources, which will allow community groups, local authorities, schools, libraries and multiple other organisations and groups to become involved at community level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Administrative Producer Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated&nbsp;administrative producer&nbsp;to&nbsp;<strong>manage<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>help shape and deliver&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig&nbsp;<\/strong>2024. The successful applicant will work closely with Joy Dunlop (<strong>Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig&#8217;s&nbsp;<\/strong>Director) and will utilise a full range of leadership, creative, administrative and communicative skills, helping to drive&nbsp;<strong>Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig&nbsp;<\/strong>forward in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Overall project management responsibility, leading on delivering&nbsp;<strong>Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig,&nbsp;<\/strong>with the support of the Director, working with high level partners and organisations through to community groups and individuals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with existing<br>stakeholders, whilst also establishing relationships with other partners groups, local authorities, organisations etc. &#8211; ensuring that all 32 local authorities engage in Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate an educational programme of virtual events, involving both GME and EME pupils. The refresh (in partnership with Twinkl) of our educational planners, containing suggested activities and resources for pupils to participate in Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with the Administrator to establish \/ maintain contact with schools<br>and colleges across Scotland; providing them with information about&nbsp;<strong>Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig&nbsp;<\/strong>with the objective of securing their involvement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work alongside the Small Grants Manager and help them maintain the initiative throughout&nbsp;<strong>Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig&nbsp;<\/strong>2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend regular meetings as required and feedback progress weekly to Hands Up for Trad team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help inform and deliver&nbsp;<strong>Seachdain na G\u00e0<\/strong><strong>idhlig\u2019s&nbsp;<\/strong>marketing and audience development activities, including assisting in the delivery of digital campaigns as directed by Innes and Campbell Communications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage with digital technology for the purposes of audience development, including updating and maintaining website and all social networking platforms as directed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>A virtual programme of educational events, involving both GME and EME pupils. This will be supported (in partnership with Twinkl) by our educational planners, containing suggested activities and resources for pupils to participate in Seachdain na G\u00e0idhlig. These target both<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Gaelic Medium Education (primary and secondary) and English Medium Education (primary and secondary) children and are available on our website, to be used by families, community groups and individuals.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>9.
