Purpose of Role
\nThis role will form a part of our Technical Services division.
\nYou will be responsible for delivering a high standard of production and technical support to a wide range of performances across various genres of activity. You will actively support the Stage Manager, Music and Live Events in the delivery of format
\nchanges and in supervising casual crew.<\/p>\n
Organisational relationships<\/p>\n
Line Manager: Head of Technical Services
\nKey Relationships: Lighting and Sound Teams, Head of Technical Services, Production Manager, Conferencing team.
\nDirect Reports: You will supervise Technicians, Casual workers & Freelancers as required, for specific projects or processes.
\nExternal Relationships: Touring managers and technicians.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
You will take a proactive approach to your work, keeping afresh of industry developments, skills passed down from colleagues and your own learning you will ensure you are familiar with the safe and effective techniques to deliver seamless production support in both theatre and live events.<\/p>\n
You will work across all disciplines supporting all disciplines within the technical services division remit, this will include (although not limited to) Lighting, Sound, AV &
\nStage.<\/p>\n
You will work with visiting companies, facilitating their visit to our premises, and supporting them achieve their production in our venues.<\/p>\n
You will undertake basic operation of events and performances together with acting as the duty Stage Manager for performances.<\/p>\n
You will undertake format changes, fit ups, get ins, get outs, and stage duty shifts as well as acting as a supporting technician for visiting companies and on our own
\nproductions.<\/p>\n
You will operate cameras, follow spots and act as stage crew as required.<\/p>\n
Salary: \u00a320,000pa<\/p>\n
