{"id":3321,"date":"2021-08-24T16:23:41","date_gmt":"2021-08-24T15:23:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.handsupfortrad.scot\/distil\/?p=3321"},"modified":"2021-08-24T16:24:36","modified_gmt":"2021-08-24T15:24:36","slug":"the-bit-collective-coordinator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.handsupfortrad.scot\/distil\/the-bit-collective-coordinator\/","title":{"rendered":"The BIT Collective Coordinator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\">A flexible and varied role that supports the work of The BIT Collective.&nbsp;This role will primarily be remote working with flexible hours but with some attendance at events and meetings required.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Responsibilities&nbsp;and duties:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Social media&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Monthly profile of an artist&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Artist of the week&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Sharing relevant info&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Updating website&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Quarterly mailing list&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Campaigning&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Working with sister organisations on campaigns&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Organising Monthly catch up&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Trad Arts Working Group member&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Reporting to Creative Scotland&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Keychange&nbsp;membership and reporting&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Qualifications and skills:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Understanding of current equalities in the traditional music scene and the music industry more generally&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Excellent organisational skills&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Proactive, and able to work alone remotely&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Able to deal with difficult situations with a firm understanding of confidentiality&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Good IT skills, using Google Drive, Google sheets etc&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\">This role is a development opportunity&nbsp;therefore&nbsp;formal&nbsp;experience working in a similar environment is not required.&nbsp;We are particularly interested in applicants with an interest in developing a career in arts administration\/ organisational work in the arts sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The BIT Collective aims to support women and gender minorities in the traditional music community, and we hope this role can be a&nbsp;steppingstone&nbsp;to&nbsp;promote equality in&nbsp;other&nbsp;arts organisations&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Fee:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u00a315\/h, 7 hours per week&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">1 year total &#8211;
