Hands Up for Trad are looking for the top 20 tunes of 2018* for their 2018 Collection. They can be anything from reels, jigs, airs,\u00a0waltzes and anything in between! All you have to do is to <a href=\"http:\/\/musichub.scot\/new-music-sheet\/\">upload them to MusicHub<\/a>! All the tunes will be listened to by our panel of musicians and their favorite top 20 chosen.<\/p>\n<p>To enter please register for MusicHub <a href=\"http:\/\/musichub.scot\/register\/\"><u>here<\/u><\/a> (if you are not registered already) and then upload your music sheet <a href=\"http:\/\/musichub.scot\/new-music-sheet\/\"><u>here<\/u><\/a>. Make sure it is in a PDF format. It doesn\u2019t have to be written out in a music software programme like Sibelius or Finale \u2013 it can be a piece of handwritten music scanned into computer \u2013 just make sure it is legible and has your details on it. Why not check out our <a href=\"http:\/\/musichub.scot\/blog\/congratulations-to-musichub-top-20-tune-composers\/\"><u>top 20 tunes of 2016<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The closing date\u00a0for entries is Sunday 26 July.<\/p>\n<p>The 2018 Collection is a <a href=\"http:\/\/http\/\/www.handsupfortrad.scot\"><u>Hands Up for Trad<\/u><\/a> project and is administered by MusicHub. \u00a0If you write tunes or songs why not upload your tunes\u00a0to MusicHub. It exists to give you\u00a0the opportunity to promote your\u00a0music rather than leaving it in your\u00a0homes and unseen and on a hard disk.<\/p>\n<p>TERMS AND CONDITIONS<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open to Scottish based or born acts except employees of Hands Up for Trad and their immediate families, their agents or anyone professionally associated with this promotion.<\/li>\n<li>All composers\u00a0must be aged 13 or over.<\/li>\n<li>Composers can add as many tunes as they like.<\/li>\n<li>Incomplete, illegible or corrupt entries, or those not in accordance with these terms &amp; conditions will not be accepted.<\/li>\n<li>The closing date for entries is Sunday 29th July\u00a02018.<\/li>\n<li>The top 20\u00a0will be selected by our panel of experts.\u00a0The list will be announced in September 2018.<\/li>\n<li>The 2018 Collection will also incorporate tunes submitted to the MusicHub website in 2017.<\/li>\n<li>No correspondence will be entered into. The panels decision is final.<\/li>\n<li>The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the competition and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* The top 20 is according to our panel. We acknowledge that a tune means and sounds different to different people. In fact we love all the tunes that you submit and really appreciate it.
