A great opportunity for someone though with a brilliant organisation.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00e8is Rois is looking to recruit a dynamic and inspiring arts leader to take on the role of Acting Chief Executive when the current Chief Executive goes on a 10-month period of maternity leave from 1st June 2017 to 31st March 2018.<\/p>\n<p>SALARY: \u00a335,000 pro rata<\/p>\n<p>KEY TASKS<br \/>\nThe Acting Chief Executive will be responsible for ensuring that the vision, aims and objectives of F\u00e8is Rois are fully met at all times, and that the agreed strategic plan is successfully delivered during this 10-month period.<\/p>\n<p>The post holder will have responsibility for tasks relating to:<br \/>\n1. Funding, finance and governance<br \/>\n2. HR<br \/>\n3. Delivery of the artistic programme<\/p>\n<p>PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES<br \/>\nEssential:<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in a senior role in the arts or creative industries<br \/>\n\u2022 Hands on project\/event management experience<br \/>\n\u2022 Management experience (both project and staff)<br \/>\n\u2022 Commitment to, and experience of, working with young people and the policies and practices required to safe guard all<br \/>\n\u2022 Sound knowledge of financial management and reporting<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to inspire and motivate, and to think creatively and seek out strategic opportunities<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to communicate at all levels, including with staff, participants in our activities, Board members, funders, project partners and the press<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to manage own time and resources to achieve deadlines<br \/>\n\u2022 Trustworthy with confidential information<\/p>\n<p>Desirable:<br \/>\n\u2022 Degree educated in a relevant discipline<br \/>\n\u2022 A working knowledge or fluency in the Gaelic language<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge and understanding of the traditional arts<br \/>\n\u2022 A full, clean and current driving license<\/p>\n<p>Personal Qualities:<br \/>\n\u2022 Enthusiasm<br \/>\n\u2022 Energy<br \/>\n\u2022 Vision<br \/>\n\u2022 Reliability<\/p>\n<p>F\u00e8is Rois prides itself on being one of Scotland\u2019s leading traditional arts organisations, providing opportunities for people of all ages to participate in music making opportunities, supporting emerging talent and developing strong relationships with partners locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
