{"id":1892,"date":"2016-11-16T09:13:05","date_gmt":"2016-11-16T09:13:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.handsupfortrad.scot\/distil\/?p=1892"},"modified":"2016-11-16T09:13:05","modified_gmt":"2016-11-16T09:13:05","slug":"live-music-now-scotland-project-manageradmin-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.handsupfortrad.scot\/distil\/live-music-now-scotland-project-manageradmin-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Live Music Now Scotland Project Manager\/Admin Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2 day pw freelance music manager\/administrator required for leading education &amp; outreach\/ professional development organisation<br \/>\nmust be flexible self-starter\/preferably based Edinburgh fee circa \u00a311,000 pa<br \/>\nclosing date: 12 noon, 30 November 2016 more info: <a href=\"http:\/\/mailto:scotland@livemusicnow.org\">scotland@livemusicnow.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Live Music Now is the foremost outreach scheme for young professional musicians working with a wide range of audiences throughout the UK.<\/p>\n<p>It has two aims:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\uf0a7 To promote the transforming experience of live music amongst people who would not normally have access to it, especially those whose lives are restricted by disability, poverty, isolation or illness;<\/li>\n<li>\uf0a7 To support outstanding emerging artists in the early stages of their careers by giving them a variety of paid performing opportunities and training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Live Music Now Scotland puts on 650 \u2013 700 events each year throughout the country and internationally, delivered by a pool of around 120 emerging artists working in small ensembles across a range of genres eg classical, traditional, jazz.<\/p>\n<p>This freelance position carries responsibility for organising and administering discrete Live Music Now Scotland projects in, for instance, care homes and special schools, as well as one-off performances in anywhere from an art gallery to a day centre for people with dementia.<\/p>\n<p>Additional administrative tasks will be required as part and in support of the small management team, including with scheduling; liaison with schools, care homes and day centres; management of musicians; data management; evaluation and reporting; publicity\/marketing; budget management; training sessions; fundraising events.<\/p>\n<p><b>Application<\/b><br \/>\nPlease apply for this post by e-mail to scotland@livemusicnow.org by 12 noon on 30th November 2016.
