Established in 1877, we are known and respected for the wide range and content of our syllabuses as well as our ability to provide first class care and support to our student, teacher and customer communities. <\/p>\n<p>Our current Local Area Representative, Alison Bell, has decided to stand down after eleven years of service, and so we wish to engage the services of a new Local Area Representative to organise and promote examinations in music across Aberdeenshire. This covers all classical and jazz instruments as well as the Trinity Rock &#038; Pop syllabus.<\/p>\n<p>The Representative\u2019s duties include:<br \/>\n\u2022\traising awareness of Trinity\u2019s exams in the local musical community<br \/>\n\u2022\tcollecting entries and processing payments<br \/>\n\u2022\tenrolling candidates on Trinity\u2019s IT system<br \/>\n\u2022\tarranging suitable venues for exams<br \/>\n\u2022\tproducing timetables for examinations<br \/>\n\u2022\tcommunicating with applicants and candidates<br \/>\n\u2022\tarranging stewarding on the day of exams<br \/>\n\u2022\tdistributing marks and certificates<br \/>\n\u2022\tassisting with local promotion of Trinity\u2019s music exams<br \/>\n\u2022\tbeing a point of contact for teachers and candidates seeking further information <\/p>\n<p>Trinity representatives are at the heart of their local community and enjoy regular contact with students, parents, teachers, schools and examiners. They ensure that exam experiences are supportive, encouraging and enjoyable and their contribution to music education is truly vital. <\/p>\n<p>This is a freelance position, remunerated through a percentage commission of entry fees and the main contacts will be operationally with Trinity\u2019s Coordinator for Scotland, and strategically with Trinity\u2019s UK Business Development team.<\/p>\n<p>For further details please email a CV and brief outline of your experience to Wallace Galbraith and Ben Norbury (details below) with subject line \u201cAberdeenshire Music Representative\u201d by Friday 4 November.
