We want to celebrate all the big and small ways you’ve been making it through the last few weeks indoors – to raise money to fight homelessness.
Made at Home is a fundraising book, harnessing the explosion of domestic creativity to help people facing homelessness during the coronavirus. We’ve been baking, sewing, doodling, writing, crafting and improvising amazing things.
But many others don’t have a secure roof over their head and a safe refuge to call home. The social and economic effects of Covid-19 are going to push more people towards homelessness and we need to support them now to ensure they have help when this is over.
Made at Home will celebrate domestic creative resilience, with all net proceeds (after print and postage costs) going to Crisis, the national homelessness charity. For this reason, there will be no payment to contributors or to publishers.
CALL FOR CONTRIBUTORS

We want your creative projects, big and small, for inclusion in the book.
We value enthusiasm over expertise – we don’t require perfection or professionalism! We want to see how you have been making it through these weeks spent indoors.
What we need:
– At least one good hi-res picture of your creative efforts.
– A short text (Between 50 – 200 words) explaining what you made and how it went. You could give some instructions or advice so others can try it.
– And we’d love your reflections on what home has meant to you in these weeks.
