This brand new online workshop delivered by knitwear designer Maija Nygren, will teach you the basics of knit, enabling you to get knitting your own clothes, accessories, and more.
In this workshop, taking place online from 6:30-8:30pmm on 6th May, you will learn the essentials of hand knitting, including how to cast on, knit and pearl, decrease and increase, and how to cast off.
You will come out of this workshop with swatches of a variety of knitting techniques, as well as the skills to create your own knitted textiles. An information sheet with everything that was covered in the class will also be emailed out to you afterwards.
This class will equip you with everything you need to get knitting. All materials and equipment are provided and will be posted out to you ahead of the class – you can opt out of receiving these materials if you already have knitting needles (preferably size 5mm) and wool (Aran weight is best to begin with) to use.
