Thanks for everyone who attended our January workshops. We will back in September for more exciting events! In the meantime read Alison Burn’s note on the January Renewing the Tradition.
Come along and join in our exciting new January harmony singing workshops: Renewing the Tradition – brand new choir repertoire of fresh contemporary arrangements seeded by some of Scotland’s best-loved Burns and Gaelic songs. We will be hosting these workshops in 5 regions across Scotland over the next 4 years. We look forward to meeting you and joining you for a song!
Scotland Sings have commissioned songwriters Kim Edgar and Findlay Napier to take a Robert Burns song and rewrite it into a modern version. These songs I Will not Say Goodbye and Petals of a Red, Red Rose will be taught at the workshops along with the winning song from Scotland Sings’ Gaelic songwriting competition.
This workshops are open to choirs and individual singers alike. The cost for the day is £10 per person with a free place offered when you make a group booking of 10 places. (Just book 10 places with 1 contact name then bring your extra person on the day.) Click on the links below to choose the workshop to attend near you. If you have any questions please contact us.
