Song Leaders Training for Beginners, Wiston Lodge, South Lanarkshire

This course is aimed at aspiring, beginner and new singing group / choir leaders and will cover lots of ground such warm ups – how and why; easy songs for harmony singing; group management; marketing and business skills; working with different voices; teaching a song by ear; improvising with a group; what to do if …. troubleshooting sessions. The focus will be on teaching and learning by ear rather than from written music. Participants will receive a free teaching pack full of useful information on running workshops, choirs and groups. Mp3 files files of songs will be available too.
